Church isn’t a building and it isn’t just about what happens on Sunday mornings. University Christian Church is a community of believers who are helping one another bring glory to God. As we do life together, we are striving to grow into Christ’s likeness, serve as He did, and share Him with others.
We encourage you to check out the variety of ways you can connect here at UCC!
Weekly Lifegroup meetings are broken down into 3 parts: we care for one another, seek God together through His Word and prayer, and encourage each other in applying what God taught us. Our goal for Lifegroups is to experience tranformation, develop strong relationships, and start new Lifegoups.
What to Expect:
- A Lifegroup leader who will encourage and equip you in your walk with Jesus.
- A Lifegroup leader who will pray and invest in you in/outside of the normal Lifegroup time.
- Generally people who are in the same stage of life as you.
- Time in God’s Word, prayer, and discussion.
- Lifegroup will generally last 1-1.5 hours.
- Each group will figure out their own childcare
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commended you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
Matthew 28:18-20 ESV
The next opportunity to sign up for Lifegroups will be in January 2019.

Ladies Afternoon Fellowship
Ladies Afternoon Fellowship meets the third Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held in room 110 in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m.
MOPS: Mothers of Preschoolers
MOPS meets every 1st and 3rd Friday of each month, September through May in the Gathering Place at 9:00 a.m. MOPS is a grassroots movement for mothers with children aged from birth to kindergarten. We believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms all over to a community of women, here in our own church and area, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying alongside one another. Contact Amber Anderson, email@example.com or visit the MOPS website for more information.

Do you have a heart for older adults? Do you want to have a part in a ministry of encouragement? The Senior Adults Ministry of University Christian Church is a ministry to adults who are retired and/or over age 65 who are unable to participate as fully in the life of the church as they once did — those older adults who, because of differing situations, often feel isolated and lonely, and perhaps even forgotten by the church. These individuals are sometimes home bound — either permanently or temporarily. We try to reassure them of the church’s concern and compassion as we offer encouragement and cheer through sending cards, making phone calls, visiting, providing communion to those who request it, providing transportation in some situations, assisting caregivers as we are able, and providing occasional meals.
We are currently looking for volunteers. If you are interested in joining this ministry please contact Graham Rose at firstname.lastname@example.org.
