BIBLE LAB

BIBLE LAB

The Chapel (map)

God has worked throughout history to give us the gift of the Bible, and through our reading of it, He promises to transform us and renew our minds. However, we know interacting with scripture can be intimidating and confusing at first. At Discover the Bible, we will practice a simple and easy method of reading the Bible, understanding its message, and allowing God to transform us through it. This Lab will be at 9:45am in the Chapel, so plan to attend the 8:15 or 11:15 services next weekend! Contact Collin Nitcher with any quesitons.

PRAYER LAB

PRAYER LAB

The Chapel (map)

Prayer is a powerful depiction of the work Jesus accomplished on the cross: because we have been cleansed of our sins and have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit, we have the opportunity to engage in conversation with the Creator of the universe. We realize, however, there are many questions and fears that surround this idea of prayer. At the Prayer Lab, we will discuss the magnificent opportunity we have in prayer and practice a few simple tools to get the conversation started. The Prayer Lab will be at 9:45 am in the Chapel, so plan to attend the 8:15 or 11:15 services next weekend! Contact Collin Nitcher if you have any questions.

WITNESS LAB

WITNESS LAB

The Chapel (map)

Jesus commissioned each of his disciples to go into the world and share everything He had done for them and taught to them. Because the commission remains for those of us today who follow Jesus, our stories of encountering and walking with God can play a mighty role in encouraging the faith of someone else. We know, though, it can be scary to have this conversation with others. At Witness, we will learn and practice sharing the story God has given to each of us, that we may play a role in the transforming work He is doing here in Manhattan. The Witness Lab will be at 9:45 am in the Chapel, so plan to attend the 8:15 or 11:15 services next weekend! If you have any questions contact Collin Nitcher.
